Fennec IT (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use any of our mobile applications, websites, or services. By using our apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Name and email address (when creating an account via Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email/password)
• Profile information such as photos or preferences you choose to set
• Content you create, upload, or submit within the app (workouts, notes, listings, messages)
• Communications you send to our support team

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: features used, session duration, in-app actions, and crash reports
• Device data: device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (used for diagnostics only)
• Location data: GPS coordinates, only when you explicitly grant location permission and only while the relevant feature (e.g., route tracking, solar alignment) is actively in use. We never collect location data in the background or when the app is idle

1.3 Data from Device Sensors & Services

• HealthKit (iOS): Apps like Stridex may read health metrics (heart rate, calories) with your explicit permission. HealthKit data is never used for advertising and is processed only to deliver the app’s core functionality
• Camera: Apps like Reel ID use the camera for AI-powered identification. Photos are processed on-device or sent securely to our servers for analysis; we do not store your photos without your knowledge
• Bluetooth: Used only to pair compatible hardware accessories (e.g., heart-rate monitors). Only the device name is retained; no other Bluetooth data is stored
• NFC: Used to read identifiers from tagged objects (e.g., gym equipment). No personal or payment data is transmitted via NFC

• Provide, maintain, and improve our apps and services
• Personalize your experience and deliver features you request
• Power AI-driven features (identification, coaching, recommendations) through secure API calls
• Send push notifications about activity relevant to your account (only if you grant permission)
• Respond to your support requests and resolve issues
• Diagnose technical problems and improve app stability
• Comply with applicable laws and protect the rights of our users

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it beyond what is described in this policy.

• Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase, hosted in the United States)
• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS
• Data at rest is encrypted by our cloud provider
• Access to your personal data is restricted to your authenticated account
• API keys and credentials are stored securely as environment secrets and are never embedded in app binaries
• We regularly review and update our security practices

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized aggregate data (e.g., usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely.

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information promptly.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your account and all associated personal data
• Withdraw consent for optional data collection (e.g., location, health data) at any time through your device settings
• Data portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format

How to delete your account and data

Most of our apps include an in-app account deletion option under Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile and all associated data from our servers.

8. Cookies & Tracking

Our mobile apps do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Our website (fennec-it.com) uses minimal cookies necessary for functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.

9. International Users

Fennec IT is based in the United States. If you are accessing our apps from outside the US, please be aware that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our apps, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page or by sending a notification through the app. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
